Thurston County High School Democrats is a local chapter of Washington State High School Democrats of America (WAHSDA). Our chapter provides a platform for high school-aged individuals to discuss political issues and engage in civic activities like campaigns. We believe that young people have a unique perspective and can play an essential role in shaping the future of our community.

Politics shouldn't be a divisive factor but rather be a factor to help solve previous problems.
Our Vision
Our vision is to empower young people in Thurston County to become active and engaged members of their community. We believe that by providing a platform for students to discuss political issues and engage in civic activities, we can help shape the future of our community. Our ultimate goal is to educate young potential voters with registration but also elect politicians that hold our values in future elections.
